The MSA invites market participants and the general public to send us information in relation to any complaints you may have regarding the Alberta electricity and retail natural gas markets.  If you would like to submit a complaint to the MSA please submit your information below. The confidentiality of information of your submission is protected pursuant to applicable legislation.


If you have a complaint about your monthly energy bill or the service from your retailer please contact the Utilities Consumer Advocate by email at or by phone – In Alberta at (403) 310-4822 or Outside Alberta at (780) 644-5130.  The Utilities Consumer Advocate has been specifically established to deal with these types of complaints.
